Kitchen Remodeling

The first thing a potential home buyer will be looking for is the kitchen. The kitchen will often give you the greatest return on investment (ROI) when the job is done right. It does not matter how large or how small your kitchen remodel is, we turn your dreams into a reality.

To get started, you should create a budget for what you’re willing to spend on your dream kitchen. When creating a budget, write down everything that it is you want to change in your kitchen. Depending on your design there may be several items that need to be changed out for newer items, so it is a good idea to plan accordingly so that you don’t overspend. There are four popular budgeting mistakes when it comes to kitchen remodeling:

1. Appliances: Remember to consider the size of your family and how much you will be doing in the kitchen. You’re working with a budget so try not to overindulge. Sure, the newest models are nice, but do you really need all of the bells and whistles?

2. Flooring: You want your flooring to last, so do not pick cheap flooring. It is very important to pick the flooring that you will like as it will be there with you a long time to come.

3. Cabinets: Invest in quality cabinets. Cheap cabinetry will break down over a short period of time costing you more money in the long run. Our professionals will be able to give you options for quality cabinetry that will match your budget.

4. Lighting Conditions: Make sure to pick a lighting style that will fit your kitchen design but not break your budget.

Bathroom Remodeling

The next highest ROI for a remodel is the bathroom. A bathroom is one of the most remodeled rooms in the house, the average size is only 8 feet by 5 feet. Our design team can remodel your bathroom and maximize all of the available space.

It’s important to create a budget when starting a bathroom remodeling project. You should create a list of everything that you want to have done and set a budget appropriately, that way, you can get the most important jobs done first.

If the cost of the remodel seems too high, don’t stress with doing it all at once. You can always pick bits and pieces to complete to lower your stress level and inconveniences that will come with the project. One thing to remember is that approximately 65% of all dollars spent on a bathroom remodel can be effectively recovered in your home’s value.

We will ensure that your bathroom remodel is done right using high quality craftmanship. The last thing you want to do is work with a low-quality contractor who will create problems for you further down the line. Our extensive experience makes us the right choice for you.

Flooring

When it comes to flooring, you will want to choose something that will feel good on your feet, is eye catching, and provide you the best return on your investment should you decide to sell your home.

The first step is to create a budget for your project. The cost of your new floor will depend greatly on what type of floor you choose to go with. Once you have a budget set, one of our team members can help you pick out the flooring that is right for you.

There are many different types of options when it comes to laying down your new floor. Below are all of the types of flooring we offer with their features and benefits:

Hardwood: Made of wood planks joined together from a single piece of timber. It has a thicket wear surface which can be sanded and refinished several times. It is common for homes which have basements to use hardwood flooring. Due to the face that you can sand down the floor, you are able to change the color of the floor at any time. You can also drop heavy items on this floor without risking damage to it.

Engineered Wood: This is the most common type of wood flooring used today. It is when two or more pieces of wood combined together to form a plank. It can be installed over all types of subfloors.

Laminate Wood: Created by fusing several pieces of wood by-product together then applying a photographic layer to the top of the wood which would simulate stone or wood under a clear protective layer. It is much less expensive than hardwood and it is also more durable. The downside however to using laminate over hardwood is that repairing it can be a bit of a nightmare when attempting to match the colors to your existing floor. Also, it cannot be sanded down and re-stained.

Ceramic Tile: This is a type of tile that is created by mixing clay and other materials, they are then fired in a kiln and coated with a durable glaze. This floor is very durable so you can expect a longer life compared to other types of flooring. The durability that comes with this type of tile you can expect a longer life compared to other types of flooring.

Vinyl: Vinyl is an affordable and resilient alternative to some types of flooring that we offer. Vinyl is made from a plastic material and provides a long-life span due to its durability.

Carpet: This type of flooring is generally made from wool, nylon, polypropylene, or polyester. When properly cleaned and maintained, carpets will last many years.
